1099 Reporting Requirements Repealed

On April 14, President Obama signed into law H.R. 4, the Comprehensive 1099 Taxpayer Protection and Repayment of Exchange Subsidy Overpayments Act of 2011. The law repeals the expanded 1099 information-reporting requirements enacted under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which had required that goods and services in excess of $600 be reported.
